Mobile Game Developer 'Secret Game' Lands RMB 200 Mln Funding

Beijing-based mobile game developer and operator Wuxian Tianji Technology Development (Secret Game) has announced that the company has landed RMB 200 mln in funding from an unnamed listed company. The funding will be used not only to expand the company's existing mobile gaming business, but also to expand into the development and operation of PC and TV games, animation, and other similar fields.

Secret Game will continue its efforts to release foreign games in the Chinese market, and will partner with China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) to offer free 3G and 4G mobile data for game downloads. The company also plans to make strategic investments in mobile game developers based in Xi'an, Hangzhou and Beijing.
