Mobile SNS App 'Blink' Completes USD 20 Mln Series A

Beijing Shijie Hexin Network Technology, operator of mobile SNS app Blink ("Kuai Kan"), recently completed USD 20 mln Series A funding from Chinese internet firm Tencent (0700.HK), Sequoia Capital, Innovation Works, and ZhenFund.
Blink is an instant messaging app with neither a chat box nor a chat history. Instead of chatting, users take a photo and add text or drawings to it, and then friends reply by adding additional doodles or captions.
At present, Blink boasts nearly 200,000 users, among which 10,000 have 7-8 friends on the app.
