Iyiou, 3/29/16

Zhejiang-based Jialin E-Commerce, operator of fresh fruit m-commerce app U Zhanggui, announced on March 26 that it has completed USD 30 mln Series B funding from Fengshang Capital and Capital Today. The amount raised will be used for expansion and development in key cities, and to secure greater market share in several core areas.

The services currently provided by U Zhanggui include group fruit buying and home delivery, and express fresh produce delivery for users who live in Shanghai. Orders can be placed either through U Zhanggui's app or through its official WeChat mobile messaging account.

U Zhanggui was founded by Wang Haihui, a former vice president of B2C e-commerce site Yihaodian, and Zhu Pengcheng, another former Yihaodian executive, in August 2015. Jialin E-Commerce previously raised USD 10 mln in Series A funding from Capital Today at an undisclosed time.
