China's B2B Search Market to Surpass RMB 10 bln in 2008

Figures show that the Chinese B2B search market will be worth RMB 4.3 bln in 2007. According to B2B search engine Youboy, the entire B2B and related search services market will exceed RMB 10 bln in 2008. Of this, RMB 5 bln will be from B2B search services started this year. Youboy believes that the Chinese B2B and related search services market is gradually shifting its emphasis towards second- and third-tier cities. This is because the flow of information to these cities is relatively slow compared to first-tier cities, a problem that the Internet can readily solve.
