CDC Software Records 2009 Net Profit of USD 23 Mln

Chinese enterprise software provider CDC Software (Nasdaq: CDCS) today announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2009. In the fourth quarter of 2009, the company recorded total revenue of USD 54.3 mln, remaining flat year-on-year. During the same period, revenue broke down as follows: license sales USD 10.5 mln, maintenance USD 25.3 mln, services USD 15.8 mln, hardware USD 2 mln and SaaS USD 0.6 mln.

Net income in Q4 2009 was USD 7 mln, compared to a net loss of USD 4.9 mln in the same quarter last year.

Total revenue for FY 2009 reached USD 203.9 mln, down 15.3% YoY from USD 240.8 mln in 2008. Revenue broke down as follows: license sales USD 33 mln, maintenance USD 99.7 mln, services USD 66.6 mln, hardware USD 3.7 mln and SaaS USD 0.6 mln.

Net income for FY 2009 was USD 23.2 mln, compared to a net loss of USD 0.89 mln in 2008.
