Rumor: Guangdong Mobile TD-LTE Trial Networks Ready by September

Guangzhou Daily, 3/23/11

Guangzhou and Shenzhen's 4G TD-LTE trial networks will offer commercial-grade quality service some time this year, according to a source within Guangdong Mobile. Guangdong Mobile has already begun building its TD-LTE trial networks, with plans to deploy 220 base stations in each of the two cities, and expects to complete network construction and optimization by September 2011.
