Motorola China Smartphone Sales Hit 1 Mln Units in Q1 2011

Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola Mobility, recently disclosed that the global handset vendor sold 2.2 mln smartphones in China last year and already sold 1 mln in Q1 2011, making China Motorola's second largest smartphone market. Motorola already has more than 30 smartphone models on the China market.
Jha added that Motorola has long been a participant in TD-LTE development, but currently has no definite timetable for launching 4G devices.
