Baidu, BMW Partner on In-Vehicle Search Products

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has announced a partnership with BMW to co-develop and operate an in-vehicle information search product. For Baidu, the partnership will see the first introduction of the company's "box computing" technology into China's automotive market. Zhang Dongchen, assistant to the CEO of Baidu, said that the company has been contacted by other car manufacturers and talks regarding a number of similar partnerships are now underway.
