Sina Acquires 9% Stake in Tudou for USD 66 Mln

According to a recent SEC filing by Chinese online video site operator Tudou Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: TUDO), Chinese internet company Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) has acquired a 9.05% stake in Tudou. Sina purchased 1.08 mln American Depositary Shares (ADSs) for USD 31.18 mln on August 17, followed by an additional 1.49 mln ADSs at an aggregate price of USD 35.23 mln between August 17 and August 25, for a total of 2.57 mln ADSs representing 10.27 mln shares for USD 66.4 mln.
