Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, 11/12/12
Chinese telecommunication antenna manufacturer Xi'an Haitian Antenna Technologies (8227.HK) has announced its unaudited financial results for the first nine months of 2012. Q1-Q3 2012 revenue was RMB 20.8 mln, representing a decrease of 43.1% YoY from the first nine months of 2011.
Net loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 was RMB 1.7 mln, as compared to a loss of RMB 21.0 mln for the corresponding period in 2011.
Revenue from network inspection and maintenance service and indoor and outdoor signal services accounted for 35% and 31% of revenue for the review period, as compared to 26% and 24%, respectively, for the corresponding period in the year 2011. The increase was mainly attributable to the increasing demand for network optimization and inspection services. Products testing laboratory services contributed to 6% of revenue during the review period, down by one percentage point from the corresponding period in the year 2011. Sales of GSM/CDMA antenna series dropped from 18% of revenue for the corresponding period in the year 2011 to 3% for the review period as a result of termination of manufacturing of 2G and 2.5G products. Less than 1% of revenue was contributed by sales of TD-SCDMA products during the review period.
Revenue from the three major telecommunication operators maintained at 51% of revenue for the review period, compared to 44% for the corresponding period in 2011.
