Netease Launches 'Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft' for iPad in China

Chinese internet company Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) released the iPad version of cross-platform free-to-play strategy card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, developed by US gaming giant Blizzard Entertainment, on Apple's China App Store on April 17, corresponding with the global release of the product.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has achieved data connectivity between iPad and PC devices. The game's PC version was released to mainland China for open beta testing in October 2013 and began operations in March 2014. Blizzard plans to launch an iOS and Android version of the game in the second half of 2014.
