Public Security Big Data Service Provider Chen Rui Raises RMB 35 Mln Series A

Beijing-based Chen Rui Technology, a big data service provider for the public security industry, has won RMB 35 mln Series A funding, led by Shenzhen Fortune Venture Capital and with participation from Ufida Happiness Capital Management. The funding will be used for brand promotion, recruitment, and collection of big data resources. Chen Rui previously won RMB 26 mln pre-Series A funding from Ufida Happiness in 2014.
Chen Rui Technology focuses on big data analysis, image data analysis, heterogeneous data applications, internet data services, and full-text databases for the purposes of providing complete solutions in the field of public security. Chen Rui's police smart data application platform is able to analyze intelligence reports, generate strategic reports, predict criminal behavior, and deploy police forces appropriately. Chen Rui Technology partners with China's Public Security Bureau at provincial and municipal levels, and currently covers more than 70 departments in 28 provinces.
