Hangzhou-based transportation big data solutions provider Yuantiao Technology recently announced completion of RMB 50 mln in Series A funding from China Elite Capital and Silicon Valley Bank China. The funding will be used to attract top talent, accelerate innovation, and further expand the company's "big data + smart transportation" product line.
Yuantiao Technology, established in 2013, specializes in products and services for smart transportation big data analysis. According to its official website, its products include an all-in-one machine for traffic condition analysis and an all-in-one machine for optimizing traffic signal timing. The company also offers solutions which cover two main areas, "big data + traffic management" and "big data + transport", as well as special traffic-relieving engineering solutions based on big data analysis. The company provides these solutions through a combination of hardware and software, deploying algorithms on its hardware platform. The platform only requires data input from a car's GPS data, electronic card portals, and various types of traffic sensors, and the platform can then analyze and evaluate road conditions.
