Alibaba Cloud Launches Cloud Server Elastic Computing Services for Enterprises

Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), recently announced a cloud server elastic computing services (ECS) enterprise-grade product family, as well as a new product series within this family that will use 25G Ethernet networks and Skylake processors.

Alibaba Cloud's cloud server ECS enterprise-grade products cover 173 different enterprise application scenarios, including general purpose, computing, memory, high-frequency computing, local SSD, big data network enhancement, GPU computing, and field-programmable gate array computing product types. Application scenarios include AI, medical treatment, video broadcast, finance, e-commerce, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

In addition, Alibaba Cloud announced that prices for some of its enterprise-grade products have been reduced by up to 35%, and that it will offer 50% subsidies for enterprise-grade product upgrades to customers who completed a previous purchase prior to August 3.
