Beijing-based patent information service provider IncoShare Information Technology has completed RMB 8-digit Series A funding from Beijing Key Industry IP Operations Fund.
Established in September 2011, IncoShare is a Chinese patent database that corporate clients can use to search and monitor patents, and track market trends.
IncoShare collects IP data from intellectual property offices around the world. When a user enters a patent query, the platform displays patent information from companies, as well as information about which of the patents are currently involved in lawsuits or business transactions.
IncoShare CEO He Jia said that the patent database has collected data from over 100 countries with more than 110 mln patents and scientific articles, and also supports bilingual (English and Chinese) search functionality. IncoShare, which charges its corporate clients a Software as a Service fee, has close to 1,000 paying clients, with the average client paying RMB 50,000 per year.
