Enlight Media to Invest RMB 30 Mln in Film and TV Series Producer Lanbaihong

Beijing-based TV program and film investment, production, and distribution company Englight Media (300251.SZ) recently announced that its subsidiary Beijing-based Enlight Pictures will invest RMB 30 mln in Suzhou-based film and TV series production, investment, and distribution firm Lanbaihong Film. Of this amount, RMB 150,000 will be used to increase Lanbaihong Film's registered capital and the remainder will be added to capital reserves. Following the investment, Enlight Pictures will control a 6.25% stake in Lanbaihong Film.
Lanbaihong Film was established in March 2017. The company focuses on production and operation of high-quality film and TV content including cinema and online films and TV and online dramas, as well as industry chain operations including investment, production, distribution and derivative operations. Lanbaihong Film's new TV drama, Xin Weicheng ("New Besieged City"), has already been pre-sold to well-known Chinese online video platforms. Lanbaihong Film also participated in producing the new film "Honghai Xingdong" (Operation Red Sea), which achieved excellent box office results.
