CareVoice to Release AI Voice-based Virtual Health Assistant for Insurers in China

Shanghai-based health insurtech startup The CareVoice announced today the launch of an AI voice-based virtual health assistant for insurers and employers in Greater China.

This artificial intelligence-based symptom triage feature is integrated into the CareVoice platform, allowing insurance members to:

  • Check their symptoms;
  • Access self-care content;
  • Be guided towards relevant medical specialties.

The new virtual health assistant not only supports insurers to become stronger health partners to their insurance members, but also generates efficiencies by avoiding unnecessary consultations and directing members to more relevant and cost-effective medical providers.

The CareVoice has partnered with Sensely, a US-based company, to bring this new feature to the market, leveraging Sensely's proprietary technology and extensive collaboration experience with leading international medical institutions, including the UK's National Health Service and Texas Medical Center.

Following its latest financing round, The CareVoice has been upgrading its platform and mobile-based solutions with digitized claims, expanding its footprint in private insurance market by partnering with more insurance services companies, as well as employers. In addition, it has started its geographic expansion by bringing its innovation to Hong Kong.
