360 Security Unveils Smart Security System for Government, National Defense

Chinese internet services and security software provider 360 Security Technology Co., Ltd. (Qihoo 360) (601360.SH) recently announced a new "security brain" project at the 2nd World Intelligence Congress, under which the company plans to create a distributed smart security system combining artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things smart sensing, and blockchain technologies, to protect network security for government, national defense, critical infrastructure, society, cities, and individual users.
Qihoo 360's security brain will have core capabilities for sensing, learning, inference, prediction, and decision-making. It will rely on hundreds of millions of smart terminals to collect data and information for intelligent analysis and security risk detection. The system will possess self-learning and self-evolution capabilities to improve recognition of new threats. It will use security big data and rules for inferential reasoning and to predict network security threats and attacks that may occur in the future. The system will also use a variety of technologies to support network security threat analysis, judgment, processing, response, and countermeasures.
