Cat Food M-commerce Platform MollyBox Secures USD 7-digit Series A

Shanghai-based Suoluo Information Technology, developer of subscription-based cat food m-commerce platform MollyBox, recently announced completion of USD 7-digit Series A funding led by DCM Ventures with participation by Unity Ventures and Atom Ventures.
Suoluo Information Technology was established in 2015 and operates as a Chinese producer of pet-related content. It began by operating an independent media matrix including "Yi Quan Yi Hua" (One Dog, One Word) and "Duo Mao Mao Zai Mimi Shangu" (Hide and Seek in the Secret Valley) accounts, and subsequently entered the pet product market by launching subscription-based new retail cat food and cat product e-commerce services.
MollyBox sends a new themed product box to subscribing users every month. Each box contains cat food (pre-selected by the user) and several additional snack, toy, canned food, and daily use products, to provide a one-stop solution to users' cat maintenance requirements. Consumers can place orders through a WeChat public account.
