AI Architectural Design SaaS Firm Xkool Raises RMB 8-digit Pre-A

Shenzhen-based AI architecture-focused SaaS developer Xiaoku Technology (XKool) recently announced completion of RMB 8-digit pre-Series A funding in May 2018 from Oriental Fortune Capital and Shenzhen-based Zhongnan Heduo Venture Capital.

XKool offers automated architectural design solutions for building industry design and construction clients. Its "AI design big brain" uses big data adversarial training algorithms to generate candidate solutions, and it incorporates site conditions and environmental factors to evaluate and weight possible outcomes and select an optimal plan. The platform can also incorporate personal data to influence design style.

XKool launched a smart design cloud platform in 2017 and released a public beta testing version of the platform in H2 2017. The company plans to release an official version of the platform following the current funding round.

XKool previously completed RMB 8-digit angel funding led by Angel Plus in August 2017.
