Spray Painting Robot Developer CurveRobot Lands RMB 7-digit Angel Funding

Beijing-based painting robot developer Quxian Smart Equipment (CurveRobot) recently announced completion of RMB 7-digit angel funding from Shenzhen-based Green Pine Yuanwang Asset Management.
CurveRobot has developed China's first 3D robot product for door and window spray painting. The robot includes a 3D laser scanning system and AI software algorithms and costs between RMB 30,000 and RMB 50,000. The system's spray evenness and color consistency results are reportedly superior to those achieved by 80% of industry professionals. A single CurveRobot system can replace 2-3 spray paint workers and has a lifespan of approximately 10 years. The system is already being used in commercial applications and customers can typically recover their investment costs within 2 years of operations. CurveRobot has sold 15 systems to date to users in the door and window, wood furniture, and ceramics industries.
