NetEase Introduces Adult Products Brand

Chinese internet company NetEase (Nasdaq: NTES) has announced the launch of adult product brand TryFun, which will feature products that are designed specifically for Asian young adults and utilize innovative models. TryFun's products will officially launch on October 25 across multiple channels including NetEase's e-commerce platforms Kaola and Yanxuan, and B2C e-commerce platform JD.com (Nasdaq: JD).

According to project head Zhao Yong, this year TryFun plans to launch multiple products across four major categories: condoms, women's massage devices, men's masturbation devices, and lubricants. The company plans to launch about 21 SKUs within the year while continuing to conduct research on the preferences of young consumers and contribute to their improved quality of life. The company will continually engage in product iteration and product feature improvement.

TryFun is positioned as a manufacturer of simple, fresh, elegant, and artistic products. According to Zhao Yong, the company won't create products such as sex dolls, which don't match the company's style or the elegance of its products.

According to Zhao Yong, TryFun aims to earn RMB 50 mln in sales revenue for the year.
