Bitauto Launches Automotive Industry AI Engine

Beijing-based automotive website firm Bitauto (NYSE: BITA) has announced the launch of an "Optimus Prime" Plan for an automotive industry artificial intelligence (AI) engine that smartly connects drivers, manufacturers, and dealers.
The AI engine uses a data engine, base engine, and scenario engine to perform data connection and precision matching of users, dealers, and manufacturers. While users select, purchase, or access aftermarket services, the AI system connects car model information sales consultants, financial plans, and maintenance records. The system also helps dealers find high-value sales leads and potential clients, and provides differentiated car buying solutions.
The AI engine will coordinate with Bitauto to create a smart analysis assisted-decision product "Ultra Magnus" (also the name of a Transformer), which uses modeling of user demands and network data to provide manufacturers with assisted-decision-making on advanced research, production, and marketing.
Bitauto's AI engine will also include an AI open platform that integrates related industry resources. The open platform has already established data partnership intentions with marketing firm J.D. Power and Chinese internet and mobile services firm Tencent (0700.HK).
Furthermore, Bitauto will release a car buying smart assistant named Elita One after the female Transformer. The shopping assistant uses data on thousands of car makes, tens of thousands of dealers, and hundreds of millions of pieces of user behavior data to offer features for smart car selection, financing, dealer recommendations, and vehicle recognition in photos.
Bitauto plans to continue exploring AI in the automobile internet field with bots for data, marketing, and writing.
