Qihoo 360 to Establish Cyberspace Security Institute

Netease, 11/24/17

Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 will soon launch a "360 Cyberspace Security Institute" with trial locations in Wuhan, Xi'an, and Beijing, revealed Qihoo 360 Chief Security Officer Tan Xiaosheng. The Institute will look to train 10,000 network security defense talents for the industry every year.

China's key industries, such as information systems and information infrastructure, need 700,000 cyberspace security professionals. This figure is expected to double by 2020, and grow by 150,000 per year afterwards. However, in the past three years, only 30,667 students graduated in network security from across all universities and technical colleges in China.
