JD Logistics Leads Series B Funding of O2O Smartphone Repair Platform Jikexiu

Chongqing-based Tianji Yunfu Technology, operator of O2O smartphone repair platform Jikexiu, has won Series B funding led by Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD.com's (Nasdaq: JD) self-operated logistics service JD Logistics and with participation from online consumer electronics recycling platform Aihuishou.com. Jikexiu has also signed a strategic partnership agreement with JD Logistics to become a service supply partner of JD's repair business under "JD Service Plus." Jikexiu will also be added to JD Logistics' offline stores and affiliated platforms.
Jikexiu will also join forces with Aihuishou.com on used handsets and recycling.
Jikexiu is planning to expand into new product categories and will take advantage of the opportunity provided by its partnership with JD.com to offer repair services to other smart devices, such as robots, treadmills, and speakers.
Jikexiu has 70 repair centers in 58 cities across China and a userbase of more than 2 mln.
