China Telecom's 5G Subscriber Base Nears 268 Mln in December 2022

China Telecom (0728.HK; 601728.SH) reported a net increase of just 0.10 mln mobile subscribers in December, raising its total to 391.18 mln, of which 267.96 mln were 5G terminal users. During the month, the operator's 5G user base jumped by 5.02 mln subscribers.
China Telecom lost 0.41 mln fixed-line telephone subs in December, reducing its total to 104.95.
China Telecom saw an increase of 0.27 mln fixed-line broadband subscribers (registered accounts) during the month, boosting its total to 180.90 mln.
