China's MIIT Releases Dec 2022 Mobile Sub Stats by Province

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released statistics detailing the country's total number of fixed-line telephone subscribers (registered accounts) and mobile subscribers by province as of the end of December 2022. China finished the month with over 179 mln fixed-line subs and more than 1.683 bln mobile subs. The December totals represent net declines of 0.65 mln and 0.88 mln, respectively, compared to the end of November 2022.
The MIIT did not split out any 5G subscriber figures by province in the December 2022 statistics set.
