Irico to Invest RMB 14.6b in 6G TFT-LCD

Color picture tube (CPT) manufacturer Irico Group Electronics (0438.HK) has announced plans to invest RMB 14.6 bln in the city of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, to create a production line for manufacturing 6th generation TFT-LCD screens. The first stage of construction will take two years, after which the factory will have an annual production capacity of 4.37 mln units of 32/37 inch LCD display panels.
