Recent rumors of a shakeup in the senior management of B2C and C2C e-commerce firm Taobao have been confirmed: Huang Ruo, Taobao VP and GM of B2C Business, confirmed that he will leave the company. Huang is regarded as one of China's most experienced executives in the field of sales, with 20 years of franchise management experience. He is leaving the company over differences of opinion regarding B2C strategic positioning and operating models.
