Bokee Denies Domestic Investment Rumor

Sina Tech, 10/28/08

Industry sources have suggested that Chinese blogging service Bokee has finalized a financing agreement with a domestic A-share company which would give the unnamed company a controlling stake in Bokee's blogging network. Bokee founder Fang Xingdong has denied the rumor, saying that negotiations with numerous foreign venture capital firms are still underway, and no decision has yet been made. He also made it clear that Bokee was not in discussions with any A-share companies.

Editor's Note: Previously Bokee announced that it was spinning-off its two main sites into separate businesses. For more information please see "Bokee Founder Confirms Strategy", MD 10/22/08 issue.
