9You to Adopt CD Key Payment Model for Chinese Paladin

9You announced in Shanghai today that its game Chinese Paladin Online would adopt a CD key payment activation method, and that concurrent with its free game operation plan (the initial activation of the game map would require a fee; game-play would be free), the company would also release limited-edition, collector's item Chinese Paladin boxes and "Ultimate Collectors' Edition" packages (priced at RMB 48 and 388 respectively). Volunteer testing for Chinese Paladin has concluded, and an all-new version of the game is expected to enter closed beta testing in mid-November.

The price of a Chinese Paladin CD key is tentatively set at RMB 30; during the promotional period, any user purchasing a CD key will receive RMB 60 worth of in-game props.
