TPV Technology to Reduce Employee Costs 10%

Hong Kong media reports that desktop monitor and LCD television manufacturer TPV Technology (0903.HK) will implement layoffs and salary reductions aimed at reducing employee costs by 10%.
TPV Technology VP Shane Tyau said that the company could adopt measures including layoffs, voluntary resignations, and salary reductions, but would not place employees on unpaid leave. The company employs approximately 30,000 people; Tyau would not reveal specific layoff figures.
