Subaye Records Q2 FY2010 Net Loss of USD 0.4 Mln

Chinese online video advertising network operator Subaye (Nasdaq: SBAY) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, with revenues up 10.45% YoY to reach USD 7.4 mln.

The increase of USD 0.7 mln in revenue was due to growth in revenues from both the Video Showcase Product and the Cloud Computing Product. Video Showcase subscription revenues for the quarter increased to USD 6.9 mln, up 8.7% YoY. Cloud Computing Product revenues increased to USD 0.5 mln for the quarter, up 33.3% YoY.

Net loss for the three months ended March 31, 2010 was USD 0.4 mln as compared to net income of USD 2.3 mln in the prior year period.

Net income from continuing operations for the quarter was USD 3.0 mln, 271.1% higher than net income from continuing operations of USD 0.8 mln in the same period in 2009. Net loss from discontinued operations was USD 3.3 mln compared to USD 1.5 mln in Q2 2009.
