Kingsoft Games Denies CEO Resignation Rumor

Sohu IT, 6/10/10

Chinese software developer Kingsoft (3888.HK) denied rumors that Zou Tao, CEO of Kingsoft Games, was preparing to sell all of his shares and leave the company.

Kingsoft said that as a listed company, any move by a member of its board to sell off their shares would be reported to the stock exchange.

According to public records, Zou has sold off portions of his stake in the company several times since last December - particularly in April of this year, when his share of the company decreased, over three sales, from 0.99% to 0.28%. There are, however, no reports in public channels that Zou plans to sell off his entire stake in Kingsoft.

Sohu IT attempted to contact Zou for comment, but calls went unanswered.
