RIM Opens First China BlackBerry Retail Store

Research In Motion (RIM) and IT retailer Digital China (0861.HK) have jointly opened China's first BlackBerry retail experience center in Beijing. The store offers BlackBerry handsets such as the 8910 Curve and 8310 Curve as well as demonstrations of BlackBerry Enterprise Solutions and personal mobile applications. Beijing Mobile will also begin selling China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) operator-customized BlackBerry 8910 and 9310 Curve handsets at the store within a week, with purchasing customers to receive a free recharge card.
