MSN China Opens Bing Advertising to Chinese Firms

Sina Tech, 8/31/10

MSN China has announced the launch of its adCenter service for keyword search advertising in overseas markets. The move is intended to help Chinese companies expand to overseas markets.

The adCenter service will provide Chinese companies a comprehensive marketing solution. Keyword ads will not only appear in Bing search results, but also through content matching on the MSN portal, Wall Street Journal website and Facebook. Ads will also reach Yahoo users thanks to its alliance with Microsoft.

Microsoft's adCenter is already available in five national markets: US, Canada, UK, France and Singapore, and will continue to add more markets in Asia, Europe and North America.

adCenter also provides advertisers with one-on-one customer service, including regular account updates and year-round telephone support within one week of opening an account.

Editor's Note: Liu Zhenyu, GM of MSN China, said in another report that he hopes Bing will become MSN China's second major revenue stream.
