Baidu to Focus on Mobile Search, B2C Verticals

CFO Jennifer Li told investors at the 2010 Baidu World Conference in Beijing today that Baidu has targeted the mobile internet and B2C vertical sectors for future investment. Baidu's investment strategy towards mobile internet will be centered on mobile search, while the notable trend towards B2C verticalization will spur Baidu to invest further resources and strengthen strategic partnerships to develop products with other portals and vertical B2C companies.
