Lenovo Delays IdeaPad U1 Until 2011

Pcpop.com, 9/25/10

According to overseas media, the release of Lenovo's dual-mode IdeaPad U1 notebook will be delayed until early next year. David Roman, head of marketing at Lenovo, said the product was delayed because it had not yet met company standards and may be redesigned before release.

In desktop mode, IdeaPad U1 features an 11.6-inch touch screen, weighs 1.7 kg, and comes equipped with Windows 7. As a tablet PC, the IdeaPad runs on Linux.

Lenovo has yet to reveal pricing details for the IdeaPad U1.
