Perfect World Reveals Overseas MMO Licensing Deals

Chinese online gaming company Perfect World (Nasdaq: PWRD) today announced that in August it licensed its self-developed 2.5D MMORPG Battle of the Immortals to i Digital Connect in Thailand and AS Online in Malaysia and Singapore. In addition, in August Perfect World signed an agreement with IT Territory, a subsidiary of Russian internet portal and online game publisher Mail.Ru, to license the operating rights to its self-developed Three Kingdoms-themed 3D MMORPG Chi Bi for the Russian Federation and other Russian speaking territories.

In September 2010, Perfect World licensed the Taiwan operating rights to its self-developed 3D fantasy MMORPG Forsaken World to Gamania Digital Entertainment subsidiary Taiwan Index Corporation.
