Shanda Online Unveils Voice Authentication

Shanda Interactive's (Nasdaq: SNDA) online payment and service platform Shanda Online has officially released its voice authentication service. The voice recognition technology will initially be used with Shanda's self-developed strategy browser game (MMORPG) World Hegemony.

Unlike other digital authentication methods, voice authentication requires a microphone. Shanda has yet to begin promoting this new self-developed technology.
