Former Ku6 VP Launches Online Video Website

"Aishang TV," an online video site founded by Chen Anjun, former senior VP of Shanda Interactive's online video subsidiary Ku6 (Nasdaq: KUTV), launched today. Aishang TV offers HD video and interactive content.

Using multitouch realtime interactivity technology, Aishang TV allows users to tap on any products visible in videos they are watching in order to view information about or buy the products from within the video.

Chen is joined by Zhang Ke, former president of Radio-Arts - the Shanda game audio production company Chen founded - as well as former Radio-Arts CFO Yan Ding, former Ku6 games channel editor Wu Ziqiang, former chief editor of gaming portal Wowshell.com Yan Tao, and Wang Huijun, a Taiwanese producer and member of the old guard at Channel V.
