Rumor: Manzuo to Achieve Profitability in September

Feng Xiaohai, CEO of Chinese group buy site Manzuo.com, reportedly sent out a company-wide e-mail announcing the company will move its headquarters to a 1,500 square meter facility in Zhongguancun Jiuxianqiao Science & Technology Park at the end of August. Hundreds of employees from Manzuo's editorial, customer service, and B2C departments have already been moved to the new offices. In the e-mail, Feng said the move would increase operational efficiency and reduce operations costs, and added that Manzuo is very close to achieving profitability.

One anonymous source within the company estimates that the move will save Manzuo millions of RMB in operating costs each year and will allow the company to reach its profitability targets earlier than expected. The leaked e-mail states that Manzuo expects to achieve profitability in September 2012.
