iQiyi, Vision Star Partner on Mobile Video Analytics

Chinese internet firm Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online video subsidiary iQiyi and Shanghai-based online and TV video marketing and consultation service provider Vision Star Communication have entered into a strategic partnership that will see the two companies working together in mobile video content research, mobile video user analysis, resource sharing, and identification of potential customers.

In May of this year, Baidu announced its acquisition of Shanghai-based P2P video service provider PPS (PPStream). Among mobile video apps, those for iQiyi and PPS together covered nearly 40% of all mobile video app users this March, according to technology market research firm iResearch.
