Kunlun Wanwei to Release 5 Client-Based Games in H2 2013

Sina Games, 8/09/13

Chinese online game operator Kunlun Wanwei has announced that it plans to release 5 new client-based online games in H2 2013.

The most important task for Kunlun Wanwei's client-based gaming business in the second half of this year is first-round beta testing of its 3D MMORPG TERA. Kunlun's air battle-themed MMORPG Mingjiang Liezhuan, which just concluded second-round beta testing, is currently being modified and debugged in cooperation with Taiwanese online game developer X-Legend Entertainment. It is set for open-beta testing in the near future.

Kunlun Wanwei also announced three previously undisclosed upcoming games. The company will announce a "resurrection of a classic" game soon, but has not yet revealed the name of this game. Additionally, the company has licensed two other client-based games, Korean action game ELOA, and an unnamed Japanese cartoon-style game, with expected release in Q4 2013 or Q1 2014.
