Sony Launches Curved-Screen LED TV in China

Japanese electronics giant Sony has launched its first curved-screen LED TV, the KDL-65S990A, in China, along with 65-inch and 55-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TVs, and other large-screen LED TV models. Sony China President Nobuki Kurita suggested that curved-screen LED TVs can replicate a "theater" experience for viewers.
Sony's 4K Ultra HD X8500A series includes 65-inch and 55-inch models, both featuring 3840x2160 resolution. In addition, Sony has introduced the 65-inch 65W850A, the 50-inch 50W680A, and the 50-inch 50W650A to compete in China's large-screen TV market.
