MOFCOM Cracks Down on Fake Products Sold Online

Mydrivers.com, 5/19/14

Shen Danyang, spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), announced at a press conference yesterday that the MOFCOM launched a campaign on April 29 to crack down on sales of counterfeit goods sold through the internet in China. The campaign was launched in response to rising sales of counterfeit goods online over the past several years, according to Shen.

MOFCOM will partner with other government agencies in China as part of the campaign, and will look to publicly punish a group of offenders in order to set a precedent for other counterfeiters.
