Kuaidi Dache, eLong Partner on Hotel Booking

TechWeb, 6/19/14

Mobile taxi booking app Kuadi Dache, operated by Kuaizhi Technology, has teamed up with Chinese online travel service provider eLong (Nasdaq: LONG) to include online hotel search and booking features within the app's shopping rewards section. Users can now search and book nearby hotels, receiving cash rebates through eLong.com and vouchers for the Kuaidi Dache app for completed transactions. App vouchers will appear within 3 days after checking out of hotels.

In September 2013, Kuadi Dache launched a shopping rewards section within the app, allowing users to accumulate points when taking a taxi which can be redeemed for benefits including taxi vouchers and online shopping coupons.

A spokesperson for the company noted that almost 1,000 people have used the hotel search function to make bookings in less than a day after its launch, despite the service still being in the testing phase. The company has not yet made plans to offer other travel-related services through the Kuaidi Dache app.
