Qihoo 360, D.Phone Partner on App Store Support

Chinese mobile phone retailer D.Phone and internet firm Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) recently reached a strategic partnership agreement to cooperate on mobile app promotion, app store support, and product sales. Under the agreement, Qihoo will develop D.Phone-branded app store and mobile handset assistant products, which will be used by D.Phone sales associates to help mobile handset customers download apps and games. Qihoo will also provide support for D.Phone's customized after-sales support app, allowing handset customers to carry out handset performance and software checks, and helping after-sales repair personnel quickly identify software problems.
Additionally, D.Phone's mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service packages will be available for sale through Qihoo's PC and mobile platforms. D.Phone's 2,000 retail locations and online platforms will now sell Qihoo's "360 Suishen Wi-Fi" ("360 Wi-Fi On the Go") USB Wi-Fi router, "360 Safe Router," and "Kid Guard" ("Ertong Weishi") smart bracelet hardware products. Finally, D.Phone discounted handset models will be recommended to users through Qihoo's various online and mobile platforms.
