Online Ad Tracking Firm Miaozhen Completes USD 50 Mln Series D Funding

Beijing-based online ad tracking system provider Miaozhen Systems has announced that the company has completed USD 50 mln Series D funding led by Primavera Capital Group. The funding will be used for stock structure optimization and a series of mergers and acquisitions. Miaozhen Systems completed USD 10 mln Series C funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Redpoint Ventures, and China Broadband Capital in April 2013. The company's USD 20 mln Series B funding from the same three VC firms was completed in October 2011. Miaozhen Systems raised USD 5 mln in Series A funding from Redpoint Ventures in October 2010.
Miaozhen Systems, founded in 2006, has headquarters in Beijing and branch offices in Shanghai, Guanghou, Singapore, and the United States, but primarily operates in the mainland China, Malaysia, and Australia markets. Miaozhen helps clients evaluate and improve the efficacy of digital advertisements to increase the return on investment. Miaozhen Systems has previously worked with Shanghai Media Group subsidiary BesTV New Media (600637.SH).
