Leshi Internet Unveils RMB 15 Bln Strategy for Online Video Site LeTV.com

Chinese online video and internet TV content provider Leshi Internet Information and Technology (300104.SZ) has announced a RMB 15 bln development strategy for its online video site LeTV.com, including investment, finance, film and gaming.
According to LeTV.com president Gao Fei, the strategic plans unfold along five key dimensions:
1. LeTV.com will allow for up to RMB 1 bln in product placement for Leshi's Super TV, Super Phone, and other ecosystem products.
2. LeTV.com will partner with Leshi's gaming division to invest RMB 2 bln in connecting game and film content to extract additional value from intellectual properties.
3. Leshi will launch a RMB 3 bln financial product to fund innovative content development.
4. LeTV.com will no longer outright purchase copyrights. Instead, the company will allocate RMB 4 bln towards a new partnership model of guaranteed minimum fees and revenue sharing.
5. LeTV.com will use RMB 5 bln for strategic investments in the film and television industry chain, and will make its content ecosystem available to content creators.
